Ways to get to and from Itaewon.

By Taxi: Just about every taxi driver in Seoul should understand, "Itaewon, Hamilton Hotel," which is the heart of Itaewon and right next to the subway station.

By Subway: Itaewon is located on line #6 (brown line). From line #3, transfer at Yaksu. From line #5, transfer at Gong-duk. From line #2, transfer at Hapjeong (west Seoul) or Shin-dang (east Seoul). From line #4, transfer at Sam-gak-ji. Seoul Metropolitan Subway website: www.seoulmetro.co.kr/eng/.

From the Airport: Airport limousine bus #6060.

Tony's Aussie Bar and Bistro -- 6,000 won Guinness and Kilkenny.

Flying Pan Blue -- A popular spot with great food and decorated with fresh-cut flowers. Very stylish.

Rocky Mountain Tavern -- "Truck Stop" breakfast of eggs, bacon, potatoes, and coffee or tea for only 9,000 won.

Tartine Bakery and Cafe -- A new cafe across from their bakery. High quality ingredients and hand-made sausage.

Zelen Bulgarian Restaurant -- Bulgarian restaurant with an eloquent atmosphere and outstanding food.

Villa Sortino -- High-end, authentic Italian with great steaks, excellent service, and extensive wine list.

Gecko's Garden -- Romantic and peaceful. Gecko's Garden is a nice, quiet option in Itaewon.
